Aussie Girl Wins Gold in Muaythai at Arafura Games

Heather O’Donnell from Caloundra, Qld, defeated South Africa’s Madeline Ross to take gold in the last bout of the finals of the Muaythai competition tonight.

“I’m really stoked to win tonight. It was a good hard fight and they’re the best ones to win.

“The Games were amazing for a first time and will be bigger and better in 2011.

“I am definitely coming back. I have had some good international fights but gold is all mine tonight.”
