Medals Awarded in International Surf Lifesaving at Arafura Games 2009

The last of the finals for the International Surf Lifesaving competition were completed a shot time ago and the results are in.
The Queensland Team dominated the events with six gold, two silver and three bronze medals. The surprise performers of the day was the team from Hong Kong, who, despite tough competition from the Australian teams, managed to walk away with the silver in the Female Surf Ski and the bronze in the Oceanman A Final.
