Palmerston Coach in Tennis Final

Palmerston tennis coach, Daniel Parker will meet a 16-year student from Brunei in the final of the Arafura Games men’s singles at Gardens Tennis Centre this evening (5.00pm start).

Parker, aged 21, was too strong in today’s semi-final against Manuel Soares of Timor Leste winning 6/2, 6/2.

In the other semi-final, Brunei’s Mohamad Aiman Abdullah defeated Nathan Hawke, of Darwin, 6/1, 6/0.

The women’s singles, starting at 4.00pm, will be between Australian Emily Webb and Macy Solon of the Philippines.
