Sarawak Clearly Dominate Tenpin Event at Arafura Games 2009

With the wrap-up yesterday of the Arafura Australasian Youth Championships Sarawak showed their complete dominance by winning the Youth Masters event.
Jacqueline Jenelee Sijore convincingly took the final with 349 pins from her Victorian opponent Bec Whiting 310 after finishing the first 15 games with 193 average.
In the Men's Youth Division it was a complete Sarawak affair with Jun Foo Chong beating his team mate Aris Ardila Santosh 457 to 517 after completing the first 15 games with 198 average.
In other events Sarawak claimed gold in Men's and Women's Singles, Doubles, Mixed Doubles and All Events.
The record medal haul also gave them the first Arafura Games Youth Champion Team trophy – Sarawak with 53, Victoria 33, NSW 8 and Northern Territory 4.
The adult competition wraps up this evening.
