Shooting Medals Awarded This Morning at Arafura Games 2009

Australia has scooped the medals pool in the Shooting – Pistol IPSC competition this morning at Arafura Games 2009.
In the Ladies Team Event local shooters in the Northern Territory Ladies team won gold with Victoria taking silver and Queensland finishing third with a bronze.
In both the Open Teams Division and the Open Junior Division, Australia finished first to take gold with Sri Lanka in the silver medal position.
The result of the Production Division was first place to Australia and second place to Singapore Police with Malaysia finishing third.
The Overall Men’s Championship was won by Victorian Brodie McIntosh with the Northern Territory’s Gareth Graham second and David Solindi of Victoria third.
The Open Junior Championship saw South Australian youngster Reece Arthur take gold with silver going to Chris Kalinsnik of the Northern Territory and bronze to Jake Tracey of South Australia.
Competition in the Shooting – Pistol IPSC continues at Acacia Shooting Range in Acacia.
