Arafura 2009 will incorporate the Oceania Open Paralympic Championships in the following eight sports:

• Swimming - Swimming Fact Sheet

• Powerlifting - Powerlifting Fact Sheet

• Football 7 a-side (CP Football)

• Pistol Shooting - Pistol Shooting Fact Sheet

• Table Tennis - Table Tennis Fact Sheet

• Wheelchair Tennis - Wheelchair Tennis Fact Sheet

Paralympic events and able-bodied events are intergrated into the one competiotion providing a unique and diverse sporting environment. The Ocenia Open Paralympic Championships is open to all countries of the world.
