Athletes from around the world are invited to participate in Arafura Games. To be eligible for participation in the Arafura Games a competitor must fit within the eligibility guidelines. Participants must†comply with the rules of the sport in which they compete as approved by Games organisers. Competitors must be endorsed by the relevant peak sporting body in their country. Any competitor in the Arafura Games must be a national of the country of the peak body that is endorsing them. Any Australian competitor must reside in the state or territory of the endorsing peak body. The Arafura Games Organising Committee shall resolve all disputes relating to the determination of either the country or state/territory, which a competitor may represent the Games.
