The Arafura Games flame will be lit at the Mantra Pandanus Darwin on Friday 6 May at 12:30pm.
In a Flame Parade the flame will be travelling through Darwin City to the Marrara Sporting Complex accompanied by the Games mascot, Rocky, Territorian triathlete Chad Anderson and up and coming local basketball star Claire O'Bryan.
Spectators are invited to watch the flame's journey through Darwin, before it heads to the Marrara Sporting Complex, where the lighting of a cauldron will mark the beginning of the 2011 Games at the Opening Ceremony at TIO Stadium on Saturday 7 May.
